Client reports
A weekly report you can put in front of a client
A care plan is easier to renew when the client can see what it bought. Every Monday UptimeWarrior emails a PDF of the past week for each site: how often it was up, how fast it answered, when its certificate and domain run out, and what is wrong on the page.
Every Monday
The seven days up to the send, with the dates and times on the report.
One per client
A report to the client's own address, covering only their sites, on Agency.
Pro and up
On Agency, with your logo and colour instead of ours.
01 / in the report
What each site's row says
Uptime
The share of the week the site was up. A failure the re-check contradicted counts as up, and time inside a maintenance window is not counted against it.
Response time
How long the site took to answer over the week.
Certificate and domain
When each runs out (the domain on Pro and up).
Issues
Each problem named: down, an expiring certificate or domain, broken links, a missing title or description, and a missing viewport or charset where the scan recorded one.
02 / which report
Yours, and theirs
The account report lists every site on the account, which means it names every client you work for. It comes to you, and it is not the one to send on.
Group a client's sites under their name and give them a report address on Agency, and they get their own report covering only their sites. A report addressed to a client never mentions a dashboard they do not have.
questions
Questions
When is the report sent, and what period does it cover?
Every Monday morning. It covers the seven days up to the moment it is sent, and names those dates and times on the report.
Who receives it?
The account report goes to the account's email address. A client with their own report address gets a second report covering only their sites, on Agency.
Can the report carry my logo?
On Agency, yes: your logo and colour are on the PDF, and the email goes out under your name. On other plans it carries ours.
Does a short failure that was re-checked count as downtime in the report?
No. A failed check that the re-check contradicted is not reported as down, here or anywhere else a figure is shown.
Which plans include the report?
Pro and up. The per-client report is on Agency.
